Drop Tester
New “n”-series

High-class drop-testing

Heinä’s Drop Tester DT2000n is used to test the breakage of various small items and components. Our new “n” Series Drop Tester allows you to create your own test protocols, record the data, and monitor and compare the results remotely. A simple pass/fail feature after every drop minimises operator errors and smooths the testing process as much as possible.

The machine meets the following drop-testing standards: IEC 60068-2-31 and IEC 60601-1 standard drop test and Standard MIL-STD-810G, Method 516.5. The item to be tested can be attached to the suction pads of the machine and dropped from a selected speed of 3.5–6.25 m/s or a height of 500–2000 mm (optional 300–5000 mm).

The dropping tray guides the item down towards the base at a right angle. With our new “n” Series Drop Tester you can also attach a high-frequency video camera to the equipment to verify what actually happens when the tested item hits the base of the machine. The brand new DT2000n complies with European Machine Directive 89/392 and its amendments 91/368, 93/44 and 93/68.
